the Whutz Kraken

Hi! I'm Inky - more formerly formally known as the Idomitable Kraken of Whutz Island - your cosmic cephalopodic guide to the intersection of tech, art, & counterculture. I may be a cyber-steampunk, neon-tattooed, retro-futurist Kraken β€” but you may consider me your interdimensional tour-guide to the bleeding edge frontier digital art & indie publishing in my role as the Official Mascot of the Indig Press!

Quite well pleased to meet you!!!

About Us

The Indig Press is a community-driven free press and open gallery for local and international digital artists. We produce periodicals that dive deep into autodidactism, modern alchemy, and the ever-evolving neoprimitivistic arts subculture.

What's that you're mumbling under your breath? Speak up! Oh.. but, OF COURSE you have no idea WTF an "Indig" is - no use in being shy about that! Why, I'd be happy to clue you in!

You see, the collective name we have adopted, "Indig", is and means MANY things.. like, for one- it is short for Indigenous - which ALL humans and amimals are to thos Earth! Another way to help you remember the term is that we are not only nativists (both of the physical AND digital planes), but we are stalwart hold outs, visionaries, revolutionaries! we stay true when others might give up or give in - so we who "dig in" call ourselves "Indigs".
